Lace-Flower Vine
Episcia dianthiflora
Episcia dianthiflora, now often listed under the name Alsobia dianthiflora, is a trailing, creeping plant that produces small bright-green, fuzzy leaves and stunning pure-white tubular flowers whose petals are so finely fringed along the edges that they look as though they were cut with a tiny pair of embroidery scissors. Your plant will spread vigorously by stolons, creating a lush cascading display in a hanging basket or terrarium. The flowers are a real surprise for a plant this easy to grow, looking far too delicate for something so unfussy.
